Why are we doing this?

Studios are fucking expensive.

we're all about making it super easy and affordable for you to jump into a professional studio without breaking the bank.

We get that not everyone can justify spending hundreds just to get access to a space where you can roll out a big backdrop and shoot some fun creative projects. So, we've set up these $99 evening sessions to minimise the financial barriers standing between you and your creative ideas.

Just walk in, Chuck a trigger on your camera, and you're good to go.

It's perfect for beginners to learn and experiment, and also a great option for freelance photographers who want a budget-friendly spot to work with their clients.

Basically, we’ve got everything set up so you can just show up and start creating something awesome without the stress.

Whats included in your studio hire?

- Backdrops - Black, grey + white (additional colours available @ $15/each)

- Studio lights - Strobes or continuous video

- Lighting modifiers - Softboxes, strip boxes, beauty dishes, coloured gels.

- Props - Use anything and everything in the space (except the cat) to enhance your photos

- Multiple shooting areas - Use the paper backdrops for a clean studio look, the makeup mirrors for "behind the scenes"  glamour shots, the display shelves for product photos, the roller door for a grungy industrial aesthetic, or shoot on the lip couch with the sirens behind you for something completely unique.

Frequently asked questions

  • DescrIf you need more than 2 hours, you're able to book the timeslots (if available) before 6pm or after 8pm. These slots are charged at the standard day rate of $99/h.

  • As many as you need for your shoot!

    Between our shooting area for your photog, the green room for the models, and the makeup area for your MUA's, the studio is large enough to comfortable accomodate up to 8-10 people.

  • Absolutely! We have many freelance photographers coming in with their clients for paid work. We're stoked to be able to offer an affordable studio that helps working photographers make their businesses more profitable!

  • For sure! James is an experienced photographer with over 10 years of shooting under his belt, and studio lighting is his jam. He's happy to do the heavy lifting during your shoot as a studio and lighting assistant to make your shots look amazing so you can focus on shooting. If you want to learn to do it yourself, he's happy to explain lighting techniques and setups and the technical side of studio photography so you have the know-how to take your photos to the next level. He’ll also film BTS video and make a cool little reel for your insta!

    Rates start at $75/h in addition to your hire fee. Dm us on insta or drop us a message on our contact page if you have any questions.

  • Absolutely. You can bring whatever you need for during your shoot, but we need a heads up if its going to involve anything messy (Confetti, glitter, slime, etc)

  • We have a floor to ceiling tension pole, and a stage pole. There is a $50 set up fee for either of these. The tension pole can have 1 seamless paper backdrop running underneath it.

    The bathtub is $50 as a dry prop and $100 if you wish to fill it. Filling the tub takes about 15-20 minutes and must also be put back in the bathroom, drained, and cleaned by end end of your session time. If you use the bathtub for your shoot, aim towards 1 hour hour of shooting time and one hour of set up/pack down.
